Eddie Moore may start for Broncos

Eddie Moore may not be a bust after all.

After a year out of football, the Broncos recently signed the former Dolphins linebacker, a second-round pick in 2003 whose career has been marred by a series of injuries.

After playing in just 18 games in four seasons with the Dolphins before being waived, Moore has been lining up with the Denver Broncos' starting defense at outside linebacker.

Moore is familiar with the defense as he played for Broncos assistant head coach Jim Bates with the Dolphins in 2004. He also spent the 2003 season on injured reserve with the Dolphins when Bates was the defensive coordinator.

Moore went back to the University of Tennessee to get a degree in sociology during the 2006 season.

For more on his comeback, here's the link to a story on the Denver Broncos Web site.
